Meet Dr. Kaydee Zimmern, Doctor of Physical Therapy, founder of GCPH

Dr. Kaydee Zimmern is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Founder of Gulf Coast Pelvic Health LLC, located in Pensacola, Florida. She believes in approaching patient care from a comprehensive perspective, providing personalized treatment

to each individual: “every person is unique. It’s important that we listen to their whole story.” Kaydee strives to collaborate with each patient in developing a plan to help them feel better and empower them to reach their highest potential. 

 

Kaydee earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Emory University, School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Zimmern has specialized training and experience working with pelvic health related conditions

that include, but are not limited to: pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain, urinary and bowel related conditions, sexual dysfunction, and pre- and post-surgical abdominal and pelvic care. Dr. Zimmern is also a certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. 

 

Dr. Zimmern has over 10 years clinical experience working with patients who have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder. This is an area of passion for Dr. Zimmern and she has made it her goal to build advocacy and awareness for this patient population. Dr. Zimmern participates in ongoing programs with the Ehlers-Danlos Society including EDS ECHO clinicians. She hopes to grow her practice in the Gulf Coast community and hopes to teach  about pelvic floor health one day. 

 

When not in the clinic or furthering her education, Dr. Zimmern enjoys spending time with her husband and two children being outdoors, traveling, and doing yoga and pilates. Her husband is an aspiring comedian you can spot around town at open mic nights.  She is an avid reader, journaler, and starts out every day with meditation and coffee. Just like she inspires her patients to feel empowered, she is always striving to live her most optimal life.

Meet Dr. Kinsey Brooks, Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Kinsey Brooks is a Doctor of Physical Therapy that started her career in 2019.
She has worked in a combination of orthopedics and pelvic health and has a passion for serving an underserved population. Dr. Brooks strives to make every patient feel comfortable from their first impression onward to helping them achieve their goals.

She earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida, School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences in Tampa, Florida and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. Dr. Brooks has completed multiple pelvic floor courses from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and strives to continue with growing her continuing education related to common pelvic floor issues.


When not at work, Dr. Brooks loves spending time with her husband and son, exploring new spots and enjoying new cuisine. She is a homebody and loves family time, especially cuddled up on the couch watching tv shows or movies.

Meet our Patient Care Coordinator,
Susan Berrian

Susan Berrian combines years as an administrative professional with a previous career in Physical Therapy to blend compassion and caring with program support and coordination. Her goal is to ensure that patients feel welcome and know they are in good hands for the best care possible and that their health is our priority.

Her experience has involved providing quality customer service and administrative assistance in multiple settings including 5 years in medical offices where she supported office personnel as well as providing patient outreach and education. 

 

As a physical therapist for over 18 years, she focused on providing the best outcomes for each patient and understands the importance of our therapists collaborating with our patients and encouraging them to achieve the goals for their best quality of life.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering in the community, spending quality time with friends and family, reading a good mystery novel and being out in nature whenever possible walking, hiking, biking and canoeing.
